Net whole-coin change is the credit minus the stake already deducted. Carry is added before rounding down, and zero raw return leaves existing carry unchanged.

Four scores and a small-return example

For n = 1, the divisor list is [1] and the score is 0. For n = 2, [1, 2] gives 2 × 5 − 3² = 1. For n = 6, [1, 2, 3, 6] gives 4 × 50 − 12² = 56.
